Access to the makerspace and use of the equipment is free for SUNY Potsdam students, staff, and faculty.
Standard material is provided for free (PLA or ABS material). If users require other material, arrangements may be made for them to purchase such material through the library - contact Jim Hubbard at firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
The Makerspace is available for reserved use during posted hours only. Requests for use must be made at least 24 hours in advance and must comply with the Reservations guidelines.
Use of the space is restricted to SUNY Potsdam students, faculty and staff. By making use of the makerspace, you agree to use it for lawful purposes that respect the policies of SUNY Potsdam and the College Libraries as well as the safety and well-being of all students, staff, faculty, and patrons. To that end, we will not print any weapons or drug paraphernalia. Failure to comply may result in suspension or loss of Makerspace privileges or removal from the building.
Users are expected to conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner at all times. The Makerspace has equipment and tools that when used improperly can result in injury. Users will comply with safety guidelines, attend training as appropriate, and obey the instructions of Makerspace employees.
Report any problems with equipment immediately to a Makerspace worker.
