Library SERVICES - offered remotely for Spring 2021:
Borrowing BOOKS/Library Materials
- The 2nd floor of Crumb Library is closed.
- Access to materials in both Crane and Crumb Libraries will be mediated through our Library Materials Pickup (LaMP) service with requested material retrieved by library staff. Students, faculty and staff can use BearCat, our catalog to locate items they want and then submit a request for materials they would like to check out (see LaMP instructions here). Please PLAN AHEAD. This service takes time, so please look for resources well in advance of needing them.
- If we do not own the book you're looking for, you can request books from across the SUNY system via our Resource Sharing service.
- Our Inter Library Loan service is currently limited to Articles and Book Chapters.
- There are no reserves or textbook collections available this spring as we are unable to do short-term loans. Loaner laptops are also not available, however...
- Desktop computing and printing are still available at both libraries but with reduced capacity.
- Library access, services and materials are currently limited to SUNY Potsdam students, faculty, and staff.
- Faculty may contact Melissa Netzband (netzbame@potsdam.edu) for questions about library instruction for Spring semester.
- Questions about access to Government Documents may be addressed to Holly Chambers (chambehe@potsdam.edu)
