Register to vote in New York!

DEADLINES!!  Applications must be postmarked no later than October 9, 2020 and received by a board of elections no later than October 14, 2020 to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

Information on how to register in person (County Boards of Elections, Department of Motor Vehicle offices if you have DMV i.d., and many other state offices) and several online options.

Voting Absentee in NY (Register First!) 
            What is it?  Voting Absentee means a registered voter requests a paper ballot ahead of the election, fills it out (following the directions, very important!), and returns it in any of the ways described in "How, when, and where do I vote?" - WATCH THE DEADLINES!
