Computing

WiFi on the academic side of campus is provided through SUNY W@SP.  Complete access to this network is limited to those with a campus computer account.  Devices must be electronically registered with the network at the point of first use before connection will occur.  

Guests can also use SUNY W@SP. Open your browser and follow the prompts to access the network.

Lougheed Learning Commons:

• Over 60 dual-boot desktops scattered throughout the first and second floors.
  • Students, faculty and staff can log in with their Campus Computer Account (CCA)
  • Public Patrons may log into the computers to the right of the Help Desk - please ask for assistance with the username and password.
• 12 student laptops are available at the circulation desk for use within the library
• 4 quick-print-only stations in the lobby.
• Accommodative workstation behind the stairs on the 1st floor - use restricted to students who have a registered account with accommodative services.

Crane:

• The midi lab with 20 computer stations is open for student use when not being used by a class.
• 12 dual-boot desktops in the library proper.
• 4 student laptops are available at the circulation desk for use within the library

Lougheed Learning Student Networked Printers

• 4 black and white printers
• 1 color printer
• 1 reserved black and white printer for public printing - 10 cents/page for things printed with this printer.

Crane Library Networked Printers

• 1 black and white printer

Crumb Library

• 1 Zeta overhead scanner which creates files that can be saved to a flash/USB drive or e-mailed as attachments. Complete directions for use are posted next to the machine.
• 1 Flatbed scanner.  Requires a campus computer account.

Crane Library

• 1 ST-600 overhead scanner which creates files that can be saved to your OneDrive account, a USB drive or e-mailed as attachments. Complete directions for use are posted next to the machine.

Crumb library

• 1 black and white photocopier.  Takes coins or BearExpress.

Microform - Crumb only:

• 2 microform readers/scanners (1 microfilm/microfiche/microcard and 1 ultrafiche scanner).  Scanning requires a campus computer account
• 1 microfilm/microfiche reader
