Libraries & Locations: College Libraries

The SUNY Potsdam College Libraries consist of two distinct facilities. 

• The Frederick W. Crumb Library is the main library for the SUNY Potsdam community, and is located in the center of the academic quad in the Lougheed Learning Commons. 
• The Julia E. Crane Memorial Library is the branch library for music, located in Schuette Hall of the Crane School of Music complex.

The Sheard Literacy Center, located in Satterlee Hall, supports the Teacher Education program and houses juvenile books used for literacy education which are available for student use.

The Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley have reciprocal borrowing agreements among their libraries.  Show your SUNYcard to get their local borrower card and use their materials.  Library cards do not entitle you to remote use of their electronic resources, but many e-resources may be used on site.
