Crumb Library Weeding Project 2012: 2012 Weeding Project

A team of librarians is evaluating all books held by Crumb Library that were published before 1950 and which have not circulated or been consulted in-house since before 2003. We are deciding between "keep" and "withdraw" for each item, considering curricular relevance and availability of online access as factors.

• Each week, the librarian team will post a file of books that have been evaluated for discard.
  
• Interested faculty are invited to review each list.
  
• Faculty feedback on the items on the list can be submitted via the feedback form linked below.
  
• Each list will be available for review for two weeks, after which point the materials will be removed from BearCat, processed for discard, and sent to Better World Books.

A new list will be added weekly for the remainder of the Fall semester, and all lists are removed after two weeks of review.

Better World Books is managing our online used book sale. Please expect four weeks turnaround between posting of weeding lists and books appearing on the Sidewalk Sale lists.
