This collection was developed at the beginning of the COVID crisis as many classes were moved online. The pandemic has revealed the systemic racial and social disparities that affect our most vulnerable populations. The Black Lives Matter movement and the enduring protests are challenging everyone to learn more about institutional racism and other social inequities.
We have pulled together a selection of e-books on diversity and social issues to help us reflect on these unique times. Titles include the voices of diverse authors, and subjects such as racism, sexism, gender discrimination, immigration, white supremacy, economic disparity, policing, criminal justice and self care.
