Google Scholar contains literally millions of scholarly articles on virtually all academic subjects. Because of this, be sure to be very precise with your keyword searches, and use quotation marks around your search terms like "Northern New York" or "Work from Home" to narrow your results down to a manageable number. Also, once you've conducted your search, remember that you can use the date filters on the upper left of the screen ("Since 2024," "Since 2023") if you only want the most recent stuff.
In order to gain access to all the articles that our library subscribes to, you'll need to link your Google Scholar account to the SUNY Potsdam library. To do so, follow these steps.
1. Click the three lines in the top left corner.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Click on Library Links.
4. In the search field, type in Potsdam and click all boxes you can (the greyed-out ones are for libraries in Potsdam, Germany), then click Save.
