Match the format of your item to the available equipment.  For scanning and saving, prefer use of the ST ViewScans.

• Microfilm = reels
• Microfiche = flat, film cards
• Ultrafiche = flat, film cards - very small
• Microcard = flat, white cardboard

Use the machine with a reel carrier

Use the machine with the reel carrier but open the glass plates to insert the card

Use the switch on the lower right to select format type

Use the ST Viewscan without the film carrier

Ask at the Technology or Research Help Desks by the stairs for assistance.
