No Clear Full-Text?

Determine what type of item it is Then select the right search tool

periodical article from a

  • newspaper,
  • magazine, or
  • scholarly journal
use our Search for Journal by Title service (it covers all kinds of periodicals)
book/chapter/encyclopedia entry use WorldCat
government document or patent use FDsys for government documents, but use Google Scholar for patents
something else
  • select a suitable tool based on the library Databases page by limiting the "database type"
  • Alternatively, use our help services to get help from a librarian
  • If an item is not immediately available, use our Interlibrary Loan service; we can get/borrow things from other libraries for you.
  • If you need the item right away, it is worth two quick Google searches (plain Google& Google Scholar) to see if there is a way to locate it (or more information about it) on the free web.  Or, a librarian can help you determine if it is at a nearby library.
