The Office of the Registrar records are open to all users and available in the reading room of the SUNY Potsdam College Archives & Special Collections. The collection is currently minimally processed, and divided into three series
Series 3, Student Records is restricted to the general public, and permission must be received from the College Archivist in order to access the materials. The researcher assumes full responsibility for observing all copyright, property, and libel laws as they apply. Questions concerning rights should be addressed to the College Archivist.
The Office of the Registrar is responsible for the management of the college’s academic records.
The bulk of the collection consists of student records dating from 1869 through 2006 (records are restricted). Additional materials include class schedules, correspondence, memos, and reports. The bulk of the correspondence, memos, and reports were created in the 1940s, and give insight into the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Registrar for that time.
